UPPER MARKET GALLERY is thrilled to showcase a curated selection of paintings by KEVIN LEONG. 

Kevin Leong is a California-born painter, currently living and working in San Francisco. His work probes the question of individual reality — did the viewer see this before they looked away, and did anyone else? His paintings explore this intersection using subject matter and paint application itself. The surface of Leong’s paintings offers a glimpse into the lifecycle of each piece, the varying weight, value, and fidelity suggesting movement across the emotional register and inviting a viewer to linger.

Leong’s process parallels how memory shapes our perception of the world, where every experience subtly influences how we observe. The result is canvases that have become stories meant to be questioned — glimpses into deeply personal, imagined worlds, challenging the notion of a single, objective truth.
