UPPER MARKET GALLERY is thrilled to showcase EXPLORATIONS, a new solo exhibition by local Bay Area artist John Hood. John has been an artist all his life. He was trained as an architect and has practiced in San Francisco for 40 years. John learned over time that the key principles behind all successful designs are composition, light, and shape. Once understood, these concepts gave him the foundation to explore the art of painting.
