UPPER MARKET GALLERY welcomes another group of local artists in its newest exhibition, PHASE.

We spend most of our lives in-between. "phase" brings together works that capture these spaces - the moments before change becomes obvious, when we're neither here nor there.

This exhibition presents paintings, charcoal works, and mixed media pieces that examine transitions. The artists focus on the middle ground - not the beginning or end, but the process itself. Their work reveals what often goes unnoticed in our rush toward completion.

Some works depict physical transformation, others explore emotional shifts. What connects them is an interest in the undefined - states that resist easy categorization but make up the bulk of human experience.

"phase" challenges viewers to recognize the importance of transition periods. These in-between moments aren't just paths to somewhere else but spaces worth examining on their own terms. The collection invites us to pause and consider: perhaps it's not the destinations that define us, but how we move between them.
